Customization

In this area, you can customize the behavior of the built-in capabilities in Cloud Solution Workbench. The settings will automatically be applied globally and have immediate effect.

Decision template

The decision template setting holds the default template used for architectural decisions. It describes the required content of an architectural decision and gives guidance for the document authors. The system comes with a default template which can be adjusted to your custom needs through the admin settings page.

To adjust the decision template, click on the respective line in the page, edit it through the markdown editor and save the changes.

Technical policies

The technical policies setting holds technical rules, which need to be considered when designing the software architecture. The policies automatically impact the ADR sidekick, it's suggested actions as well as the generated text. This way, they help to ensure alignment and give guidance for the architects when taking architectural decisions. By default, the technical policies are empty.
